Built tough. Stays put.

Coxreels has been manufacturing hose, cord, and cable reels in Tempe, Arizona since 1923 — now in its tenth decade under third-generation family ownership. The company builds the widest variety of industrial reels made in the United States, covering spring-driven, hand-crank, motorized, and controlled-rewind configurations across hundreds of models.

Every reel is designed and built in-house using CNC machining, robotic welding, and modern automation, which gives Coxreels full control over dimensional consistency and finish quality. The Super Hub dual-axle design — patented — adds rotational stability that single-axle reels cannot match under heavy hose loads and repeated retract cycles in demanding shop environments.

Coxreels holds UL, CSA, and CE certifications and RoHS compliance, making its power-cord reel line legal on sites with electrical safety requirements. The industrial reel catalog spans agriculture, automotive, aviation, construction, fire and safety, marine, petroleum, pressure wash, and welding — anywhere a managed fluid, air, or electrical drop needs to retract cleanly and stay out of the way.

Why source Coxreels through SPC Company?

One point of contact through SPC

Coxreels reels come through SPC's distribution network, with SPC as your single point of contact for quoting, sizing, and order management — no middleman shuffling.

Right reel for the application

SPC matches the reel to the hose size, run length, and mounting requirement rather than defaulting to a catalog number — the difference between a reel that works and one that sits coiled on the floor.

Part of a complete compressed-air solution

Coxreels reels pair with the hose, fittings, and accessories SPC already stocks, so a shop can spec the full drop — compressor to tool — from one distributor.

Not sure which Coxreels line?

Answer a couple of quick questions and we'll point you to the right Coxreels reel.
Retract method — spring, crank, or motor?

Spring-driven reels are the standard for air and fluid drops where automatic retract is expected. Hand-crank suits heavy or long hose runs where spring force is insufficient. Motorized reels handle very long or heavy cables. The controlled-rewind system adds a braking mechanism for safe, managed retract of heavier loads.

Hose size and run length?

Match the reel frame to the hose OD and the total run length the spring must retract. Coxreels publishes capacity tables by series; oversizing the reel is better than undersizing, which strains the spring and shortens life.

Electrical, fluid, or both?

Air and fluid reels are carbon-steel or stainless; power-cord reels (PC Series) are UL/CSA listed. If the application needs a cord and an air line together, Coxreels offers combination reel configurations.

Indoor shop or outdoor/exposed environment?

Standard reels suit dry indoor environments. Specify a stainless or powder-coat option for wash-down, marine, or chemical-exposure locations.
